AutoConn is our add on option for emergency teleoperation and remote monitoring of autonomous vessels.
-
AutoConn enables teleoperation and remote monitoring from any device installed with a standard web browser from any onboard or onshore location with internet or WiFi LAN connectivity.
-
Onboard, AutoConn is used for manual control of the vessel via a mobile device connected to our onboard WiFi LAN to allow handling of mooring or other tasks away from the helm. It can also serve as a pocket held rearview camera.
-
Onshore, AutoConn is used for both remote monitoring and teleoperation. Often enabled by cellular connectivity, AutoConn also works using satellite internet when needed.
-
AutoConn access is secured by encryption and two-factor authentication.
-
AutoConn can also be paired with GPS waypoint navigation as well as our radar, lidar or camera based collision avoidance and AI assisted teleoperation.
-
AutoConn is offered with various sensor packages and computing options depending on the features needed and can retrofitted on existing vessels. AutoConn is also seamlessly integrated by our collaborative team on new vessel designs with minimum impact on contemplated vessel aesthetics, allowing for minimum footprint and cost while maximizing functionality.
